I have utilised my Masters degree in Zoology to lead several successful grassroot conservation projects. Centered around increasing biodiversity through habitat creation and empowering communities to take ownership of their local green and blue spaces. I have conducted species surveys in both aquatic and terrestrial habitats to gain an understanding of species richness and evenness, often working in close proximity to endangered species.
In search of expanding my skillset I am independently undertaking training in Biodiversity Net Gain as this is a field I have particular interest in and feel will become integral to the engineering, construction and land management industries in the future. Dedicated to tackling pressing environmental issues facing our planet, I am seeking to apply my expertise in a role where I can contribute to innovative environmental solutions and drive positive change.
After graduating from the university of Nottingham with a Masters in Zoology I have spent two years working as a wilder learner and Community Organiser.
