About
I have recently completed a degree in Social Policy, Sociology and Crime at the University of Leeds and graduated with a 2:1. Throughout my time at university, I balanced full-time study with around 30 hours a week in hospitality and events, developing the resilience, organisation and work ethic needed to perform under pressure. I am naturally energetic, curious and people-focused, and have lots of energy and focus.
I enjoy challenging myself and have consistently been recognised for going above expectations.
At Green
Room in Leeds, I quickly became one of the highest-performing bartenders in a team of 70 through strong product knowledge, confidence with customers, and a proactive approach to upselling. I also progressed into a management role within a student events company in my first year, recruiting, training and supporting new team members while helping to deliver successful events. I enjoy taking responsibility and learning new skills.
At 19, I was selected as one of only six Camp America counsellors trusted to operate a speedboat. I am trained in ballet to an advanced level and have taught young ballet students. I have raised over £4,500 for charity through organising music events; I cycled from Paris to London at the age of 15, and I am a qualified professional lifeguard.
I am now looking to start a career in events because it plays to my strengths. I am organised, love working with people, enjoy fast-paced environments and love the challenge of bringing moving parts together.
