Self motivated and hardworking is how I would describe myself. I have an outgoing personality who loves the outdoors and thrives as being part of a team. Having completed Duke of Edinburgh Bronze and Silver awards I have learned to overcome problems and on occasions think outside the box.
I have shown resilience, leadership, planning and organisational skills. As a young carer for my mum I have supported her with her decision making and daily tasks such as shopping and learnt basic BSL so I was able to speak on her behalf when needed. This has increased my empathy and taught me patience and compassion.
Being a creative person I am able to express myself and performing on stage has given me confidence.
I have been volunteering at Oxfam since July. I believe this has developed my skills a lot. For example, I have had experience on the till serving customers. I also have had experience in pricing clothing in the back of the shop and helping customers by answering their questions.
I also have volunteered to help my school with open events and the year six transition week. At the open events I show families around the school and answer their questions. During the year six transition week I had the responsibility of looking after a group of 29 kids, showing them around the school and helping them in class.
I also chaperoned at Hazlitt Theatre where I was responsible for looking after the younger kids and making sure they were ready for the show. I would also lead them on and off stage.

Here I received training mainly in dance for 5 years and continuing. I received acting training from 2016-2020. And I have received a little singing training throughout the years whilst I have been in shows including: musicals, plays, dance shows and dance competitions.
