I currently work as a part time sales assistant within my local Spar store in Lawthorn. I am responsible for serving customers, keeping the store clean, tidy and well stocked. I thoroughly enjoy my position as i enjoy working as part of a team.
I enjoy ensuring everything is neat and tidy and that the store is organised accordingly for the safety of the customer. I feel a tidy shop and a friendly face makes the customers experience more enjoyable and memorable, encouraging them to return in the future. It gives me great satisfaction to be giving the customer a great experience.
As a result of my experience within my position, I have gained excellent communication skills which I feel to be important when meeting the customers needs. I work well under pressure and I have the ability to meet time scales. I deal well with enquiries and I handle customer complaints professionally.
I have developed the ability to work well on my own initiative as well as part of a team. I am known to be an excellent time keeper and I am always keen to help out with any overtime that may be required. I live local to the store so early mornings and late nights would be no problem at all.
I can also be available at short notice.
