Cleaner and customer service at Morrisons

This role entailed being hands on and interacting with customers, dealing with daily stock. I had to deal with varied types of people at all times of the day so I am, and had to be very adaptable and approachable when dealing with requests/issues or inquiries, additionally in friendly and respectable manner with which I find easy as I feel I am very approachable and understanding.

• Worked over various areas of the store including: The hot food counter, shop floor, the warehouse and the garden section
• Working under pressure in the most demanding part of store responsible for keeping the fast checkouts flowing minimizing the delays where possible
• Being flexible in my working hours was very important in this role, ensuring that I am available for any overtime when other areas of the store needed support
• Maintaining excellent hygiene and cleaning throughout the store was of upmost importance
• Problem solving when customers have any issues e.g. suggesting alternative products, answering customer questions and assisting with any other issues
• Maturely handling customer complaints in a professional manor and escalating these appropriately when needed

School Cleaner at Rotherham Council

Working for rotherham council, I was in charge of cleaning the school premises when the children had left for the day. This included classrooms, toilets and the school grounds to a high standard. I have an enhanced DBS under my name, which is valid for 3 years. I made sure that all areas I cleaned were to the highest standards and were perfect for the next day to run smoothly.

Ambulance care assistant at First for care

At first for care I worked on the ambulance transporting different patients to and from hospital appointments. We ensured their travel was as stress free and safe as possible. Some of these patients were really unwell, requiring oxygen and had different requirements for their journey. I welcomed each patient to the ambulance with a smile and created conversations to keep them at ease.

Crew member at McDonald's (2017 – 2019)

Whilst working at McDonald's I worked as a team and with customers to ensure their orders were taken professionally and successfully. I completed food hygiene courses in relation to this to keep the restaurant clean and up to standard at all times. During my time working at McDonald's I was promoted to a crew trainer which gave me the opportunity to work with new staff members ensuring they were fully knowledgeable of their job and company expectations.

Working at inspired beauty I became confident in dealing with customers on a daily basis. I ensured their time in the salon was up to standard and as comfortable as possible. I answered phone calls and booked appointments, whilst keeping the salon clean and up to hygiene standards.
