Night shift supervisor for a team of six, responsible for their task allocation and training, including supporting e-learning. Responsibility included cash handling (an average of £16k per empty), promotion of memberships, and key holder. This role required a high degree of customer service skills, having to work within legal frameworks and databases for age and sobriety tests.
This included ejection of clientele and enforcing self-exclusion. Alongside other duties, I ensured a positive atmosphere at my venue by managing daily cleaning, and offering drinks and refreshments to guests. Another important aspect was developing close rapport with regular customers.

During my work experience I carried out stock taking, picking and replenishing of shelf stock and fulfilment of orders in the warehouse. I also assisted customers, with locating items/stock they wanted to purchase and answered their queries. I also observed the till transactions and helped package the items purchased with care to ensure they reached the customer in the perfect condition.

I worked with my Aunt and Uncle, for a week, in their coffee shop in Peckham during the February half term. I handled cash, prepped food, served customers, and completed general housekeeping e.g. cleaning tables and cleaning maintenance of the coffee shop. I took food orders both at the tables and counter, putting the orders into an App and took payment.
I answered customer queries regarding the menu and helped assist their choice. I prepped sandwiches, toasties and pastries to the customer requirements and prepared and served the ordered refreshments.
