My career has been based on my RAF Apprenticeship and I have used that knowledge in various roles and at different levels of management within manufacturing and warehouse distribution. I consider myself to be a dedicated employee who works well under pressure and within tight time schedules. Two-way communications is one of my strongest attributes and over the years I have found this to be very advantageous when leading a team of staff who have different levels of input.

Managing warehouse total of 25 operatives over two site (Burton upon Trent & Leeds) fully temperature 8,000 + SKU's controlled Lot & date trace. 16k cubic metre warehouse

• Write all new SOP's / WI for pick pack and despatch as required (this included raw material for clinically compounded items)
• Jan 2012 now tasked with obtaining a new site and consolidating all warehouse operations
• Mar 2012 purchasing department also now reporting to myself. Reviewed all process for 5 purchase clerks and a manager. Standardise supplier products

Consultant Warehouse Floor Manager (Interim) - Idis Pharma - Byfleet Surrey

Covering a long term sick position in a medical warehouse. Manage all aspects of the temp controlled warehouse receipt, pick, despatch to UK and worldwide customers. (Hospitals, Doctors, Pharmacy etc.) 4800 sku's and 800+ orders picked on a day one for day one despatch.

• Ensuring all products are stored and packing in accordance with MHRA regs
• Packing temp controlled items to despatch worldwide via DHL, Polar Speed and approved couriers
• Managing a team of 12 operative related issues and training full time and temp via agency and worked within current regulations and H&S law

Material Control operation Manager - Dyn Corp Int Texas USA - Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom)

Responsible for all warehouse Function in support of the American / N.A.T.O forces. Ensure all parts received via Air transport and or Convoy are processed via the American SAARS stock control systems and arranging delivery within the BASE and convoyed to the numerous sub sites within the area supported by our Unit. My staff of 40 came from all corners of the Globe Multi National / Multi cultural and I enjoyed the extra challenge this presented to meld them into a top performing team.

We all met one evening and were then flown on a helicopter to our base of operations to take over the control of multiple items stored externally in a yard in crates and or conex's some requiring controlled storage and handling. We were allocated 12 weeks to get to an operational status but by strong team work were given the green light on the 7th week and were able to support all the convoys from that time goods in and out. The its included the full inventory of military items (excluding Food and Fuels) The environment was harsh to both staff and equipment and we were often working in Temperatures in excess of 110 degrees and the majority of items were stored externally on pallets or in metal contain

Warehouse / Transport Manager - BUPA Home Healthcare - Derby/Harlow Medical Services

Responsible for all warehouse and transport issues at the Derby site 18 warehouse staff and 8 PSO's (Driver). Controlling all goods for receipt to delivery for patients in the midlands area and mid Wales. Ensuring all items are Handled and stored within the MHRA guide.

Logistics Shift Manager - Culina - Whitchurch Shropshire Chilled Warehouse

Controlling the day to day logistics of a chilled warehouse holding 3600 pallet spaces across three warehouses Supervising 38 staff full time and up to 14 part time depending upon dairy work loading. Controlling the delivery of up to 42 chilled Artic loads daily and receiving 8 to 14 goods in loads working a 4 on 4 off pattern 12hr days

• Ensuring all the orders for the day are picked and palletized for collating and loading onto the fleet for delivery This operation was a fully bar coded operation
• Controlling the daily work flow thru the site and tasking the correct staff levels to each job as the work flows through the site till completion
• Ensure all FLT and powered pedestrian pallet trucks are maintained and operated with all current HSE guidelines
