Having successfully completed my National Extended Diploma BTEC in Engineering at Level 3 at the JCB Academy, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned companies such as Bosch Rexroth, National Grid and engage in discussions with Nottingham City Council on a variety of topics, including the sustainability of public transport. These experiences have strengthened my problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative, as demonstrated through my involvement in initiatives aimed at enhancing Nottingham's award-winning transport system. I worked as an operator answering and calling clients wanting taxis for their day-to-day travel, seeing quotes, helping with which type of vehicle they would need and taking advanced booking using the software. I would also take care of taxi drivers by helping them with routes and find the quickest route to the customer, helping them with any technical issues, reporting problems and any related to their trip. Being able to speak Urdu allowed me to resolve communication issues as well as attain new clientele.

During my work experience at the takeaway, I assisted in increasing sales and profitability by fostering positive relationships with both customers and local suppliers. I supported the business in sourcing products efficiently and negotiating with nearby factories to secure larger orders, helping to reduce costs while maintaining quality. By building strong customer relationships, I contributed to repeat business and encouraged larger orders, which had a direct impact on the takeaway's revenue and long-term growth.
