I worked as a casual assistant at Sports Direct on a temporary contract. My role involved getting delivery out of the truck, putting stock out, keeping the store tidy, dealing with any customer queries or assisting them with whatever they needed. I was mostly working on the shoe department where I would assist customers with fittings and put shoes out on display.
I also worked on tills and would have targets to meet which involved selling our magazines to customers. Overall my role was very flexible and I would work mostly every day.
Cinema Host at ODEON (2016-11 – 2017-01)
This was a Christmas temp job where I worked as a Cinema host. My role involved working in the box office and selling tickets, selling merchandise, cleaning up cinema screens when customers finished watching, preparing snacks such as nachos, hot dogs etc. I also would stock up all food products whilst checking everything is in the right temperature. My job also involved me having to check the all cinema screens before closing up to ensure that no customers were left in.
Night Receptionist at Premier Inn (2017-07 – 2017-08)
I worked as a Night receptionist. I would check people in, take bookings through the phone, checking the hotel to ensure everything was safe and should be, helping customers when required and finally cashing up. I left due to the hotel being so far away and the hours were not convenient as I was working two jobs.
Customer Service Advisor at Argos (2017-07 – Present)
I currently work at Argos as a Customer service advisor. My role involves me picking parcels and handing it to customers, taking their tickets to ensure it's right, I help customers on any enquiries, try and sign people up on our Argos card and also do fast track which is a delivery service that we provide.
