I am an Electrical Engineer recently got a Master's Degree in Energy Engineering at De Montfort University, Leicester. My professional experience spans various roles, including working as an Electrical Engineer and Employee Service Representative. I have worked in technical environments, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for electrical systems, while also gaining hands-on experience with energy technologies and renewable energy systems.
I am looking for a challenging role in the energy or engineering sector, where I can utilize my technical skills, particularly in sustainable energy solutions, system optimization, and project management. My aim is to contribute effectively to the development of sustainable and efficient energy systems in a progressive organization.
I have a diverse range of experience in the electrical and energy engineering field. My career began with internships at Malakand-III Hydro Power Complex and Pakistan Water and Development Authority, where I gained hands-on experience in electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting. I then progressed to a full-time role as an Electrical Engineer at Al Fajr International - NORINCO, where I performed maintenance procedures, provided technical support, and supervised construction of electrical rooms and substations.
This role allowed me to develop my skills in fault isolation, system evaluation, and project supervision. Currently, I work part-time as an Employee Service Representative at Subway in Leicester, where I manage and motivate employees while pursuing my master's degree. This position has enhanced my leadership and time management skills.
Throughout my career, I've demonstrated proficiency in using various software tools like HOMER Pro, MATLAB, QGIS, and Power World Simulator, which have been valuable in my technical work.
My most relevant educational achievement is my recently completed Master's Degree in Energy Engineering from De Montfort University in Leicester. This program has equipped me with advanced knowledge in renewable energy systems, sustainable energy design, and energy efficiency analysis.
Key skills I've developed include evaluating renewable and low-carbon technologies, analyzing energy systems, and developing sustainable energy transition strategies. I've also gained expertise in electricity generation technologies, smart grid systems, and rural electrification planning. A significant project during my master's was developing a comprehensive rural electrification proposal for Pemba, Mozambique, which showcased my ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world energy challenges.
Prior to my master's, I completed a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from CECOS University of IT & Emerging Sciences in Peshawar, which provided me with a strong foundation in electrical systems and power engineering.
