Muaaz Muhammad

I've 1 years' experience as part of strategic functions for two of MENA's leading venture-backed startups in Telda and Fasset. Across these, I've been part of international expansion teams developing market entry strategies into the UAE, Saudi and Pakistan, managed FinTech and Crypto licensing across these markets, and built business-cases for a number of enterprise partnerships with Mastercard, BMW, and Careem to name a few.

Across these roles, I've developed proficiencies in financial modelling, analyzing market and investment trends, drafting business plans and market reports, and building presentations and pitching, in addition to developing product development and design skills through building prototype user journeys in earned wage access, white-labelled crypto exchange, and more.

I've just over 1 years' experience across payments, crypto, venture capital, and government, primarily in MENA markets.

Currently, I'm serving as a Founder's Associate to Fasset's COO, where my role sits across supporting all functions managed by the COO, and as part of Fasset's Enterprise team developing its partner network.

Prior to Fasset, my role at Telda sat in the international expansion team, supporting with building research and modelling user and revenue growth towards development of its market entry strategies into the UAE, Saudi, and Pakistan. I briefly interned at UAE-based Razor Ventures over this period. Prior to moving to the Middle East, I began my career as a Research Analyst for the British Government's regulatory frameworks body, the Better Regulation Executive (BRE).

I graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in July 2021 with a BSc in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, receiving Upper-Second Class Honours.
