I am a qualified domestic gas engineer currently available for work. After almost 15 years of successfully owning and managing businesses, I decided to pursue a career in domestic gas engineering. Throughout my career, I have always enjoyed practical, hands-on work, whether running a barber business, takeaway or restaurant.

Working directly with customers, solving problems and providing a high standard of service has always been a big part of my working life. I have gained valuable industry experience with Hillcrest Housing Association, working alongside experienced domestic gas engineers carrying out servicing, repairs and installations of domestic gas appliances.

My experience includes: I particularly enjoy the variety that domestic gas engineering offers. Every property and every appliance present a different challenge, and I enjoy using a logical approach to diagnose faults, complete servicing correctly and ensure appliances are left operating safely and efficiently. Safety is always my highest priority.

If I cannot resolve a problem using my own knowledge or the manufacturer’s instructions, I will seek technical support to ensure the repair is completed correctly. I believe learning from every appliance I work on helps me become a better engineer, reduces repeat visits and provides a better service for both the customer and the company. My previous business experience has given me excellent communication and customer service skills.

I have worked with customers from many different cultures and backgrounds throughout my career, and I enjoy meeting new people every day. I understand that every customer should be treated with professionalism, respect and honesty, as I am representing both myself and the company I work for. I am reliable, disciplined and punctual, and I take pride in maintaining high standards.

I am always willing to develop my knowledge further through additional training, manufacturer courses and qualifications. If my employer asks me to expand my skills or take on new responsibilities, I will welcome the opportunity. I am also happy to go the extra mile whenever required to support my colleagues, deliver excellent customer service and contribute to the success of the company.
