My duties include serving customers at the register, giving them a warm welcome, asking them about their day, and saying goodbye. I also have to check my change and ask if they want a receipt, and I keep the store clean, tidy, and organised to make it easier for customers to find the goods they want and need. The store needs to be clean and organised at the end of my shift so that customers can come in the following morning to a nice store.

I previously worked at Tesco cafe which included speaking to customers, stocking drink and snacks counter, making coffee (as a barista), promoting new cakes and menu items, showing exceptional customer service, handing money/ cashing up and using the Till to serve customers. Whilst working at Tesco I have developed amazing communication skills as I have been serving customers that were deaf and was able to take their order with ease. I have gained some great customer service skills as I know how to deal with each specific customer that being someone with special needs and difficult/rude customers etc. i also used to stock up on drinks and sandwiches when they used to get low.

I previously worked at Sbarro which was located in Asda (Cemetery Road) My job role included making pizzas for the customers to enjoy, serving customers which included putting on a friendly face, giving them a warm welcome and greeting them with respect which would make them want to come again and making some loyal customers. My job role also included cashing up at the end of my shift, making sure the store was nice and tidy before leaving, making fresh doe for the pizzas, measuring all the ingredients, stocking up on drinks, cookies, ingredients etc.
