Work Experience:

1.Research Assistant (02/22022 – 05/2022), Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Bath

• Organised research and experiments to collect data for the Spinning Mesh Disc Reactor (SMDR) development project, including ordering and preparing chemicals and consumables to serve a team of four scientists.
• Experimented with a new composite catalysis (heterogeneous catalysts) synthesis through enzyme immobilisation on the organic support material.
• Delivered tutorials and workshops for PhD students focusing on Polymer degradation using organometallic catalysts on The Spinning Disc Reactor (SDR).
• Developed research proposals and grant applications to secure £49,477 in funding for Spinning Mesh Disc Reactor (SMDR) development in the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API).

Laboratory Demonstrator (09/2017 – 06/2019), Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Bath

• Supervised the experiment for three hours, including giving tutorials on the experiment and how to report the results and risk assessment in hydrodynamics (energy loss and Bernoulli’s law), for undergraduate students.
• Conducted demonstration of an experiment for eight students at the same time with two different experiments. 
• Carried out tutoring to assist with student coursework assessments and reports
• Conducted marking for three hours of eight students' reports.

• Prepared the protocols, equipment and materials for year-9 to year-11 in Chemistry, Biology and Physics two hours experiments.
• Delivered the experiment to 20-25 students and supervised two hours experiment.
