Promoted to Cleaning Manager in a newly opened store. Responsible for overseeing cleaning across the store, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation at all times. Supervised and supported cleaning staff, delegated tasks, and monitored performance to ensure work was completed efficiently.

Managed cleaning schedules, maintained stock of cleaning supplies, and ensured compliance with health and safety regulations. Demonstrated leadership, organisation, and the ability to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Cleaner - Arcus FM

Contract cleaner in Sainsbury's. Responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the store, including shop floors, staff areas, and customer facilities. Duties included sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitising surfaces, and emptying bins.

Ensured all areas were clean, safe, and presentable for customers and staff. Followed health and safety procedures and used cleaning equipment and chemicals correctly. Worked efficiently in a busy retail environment, demonstrating reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Sales assistant - Jollyes - The Pet People

Retail sales assistant. Working tills and putting out stock. Often giving different advice to pet owners and selling pets with the knowledge of how to look after them. Product knowledge is a huge part of this role as many pets have different allergies and intolerances to look out for.

Cleaning our for sale animals is another part of the job, making sure they have a clean and safe environment with plenty of food and water. Work as part of a team in maintaining store standards and targets. Working the tills has given more cash handling experience.

Bridal Sales Consultant - Wed2b - Brighton/Southampton

Selling wedding dresses to brides. Would have targets to achieve with every sale. Used different sales techniques to sell accessories to a bride. Did cleaning regularly. Trained how to do stocktake and keep up-to-date with targets and sales for the store compared to the rest of the company. Was being trained to become Senior Sales Consultant but was not given the opportunity to progress.

Lone working in a Kiosk in a park. Sold ice cream and hot desserts, also making coffees with a barista machine. Deep cleaned and took stock. Cash control was a big part of this role.

Breakfast waitress for an adult holiday resort. Prepared station for the morning and set tables. Took orders from customers and sent them to the kitchen team. Got tea/coffee/juices/toast for designated tables. Took food to the tables. Made conversation with the customers and created a relationship with them for their stay. Cleaned the restaurant and polished cutlery and glasses and set tables for the next meal.
