Nathania Emily Lysandra (Emily) is an LL.M. candidate in Corporate Law at University College London (UCL), expected to graduate in September 2026. Her academic and professional accomplishments reflect a strong and longstanding interest in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border transactions. At UCL, she is currently studying corporate finance, comparative corporate governance, and international investment law, and serves as an Editor of the UCL Journal of Law and Jurisprudence.

Emily previously worked as an Associate at SSEK, a leading Indonesian law firm, where she advised multinational and domestic clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, and foreign investments across regulated and high-growth sectors. Her experience includes due diligence, transaction document review, regulatory analysis, and corporate advisory work on complex domestic and cross-border matters.
She holds an LL.B. (Honours) from Universitas Indonesia and has also completed the Summer Programme of The Hague Academy of International Law. Emily passed the Indonesian Advocates Bar Exam in 2024, with admission pending in 2026.

Represented and assisted multinational and major domestic companies on corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, incorporation of foreign companies and joint ventures, restructuring, and cross-border investments across various sectors, including real estate, banking and finance, life sciences and healthcare, infrastructure and project finance, shipping, and technology, media and telecommunications. Prepared and reviewed term sheets, non-disclosure agreements, share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, escrow agreements, loan agreements, lease agreements, and land mortgage deeds.
