First Response Emergency Unblocker - HAPPY DRAINS
(2022-12)
As a drainage engineer, we are sent out to assess jobs on a job by job basis. Every job is different and may require a second colleague to help or additional tools for the job out of the ordinary. Most of the jobs I attend can be completed by myself with HPJW or internal equipment.
On occasions it may require further works or a quote to the customer directly for repairs to a fault foul line, broken gully or damage from roots. If I find a fault on site, I will then speak with the customer and quote for the repair work. Providing they are happy with the quote I then carry out the repairs while on site.
As part of my service I always make sure to leave any site clean and in good working order for every customer.

Mulit Drop Driver - Fedex
(2014-05 - 2018-06)
Part of my role with Fedex was to pre plan my route each morning. I had to make sure my route was planned in a time effective and cost-effective way. This included making sure I was on time for the time specific deliveries and completed my deliveries in time to start the collections from customers before returning to the depot.
Once my route was planned, I then had to do my vehicle safety checks before loading my van in the correct order to locate the correct parcels quickly before delivering. Once out of the depot in the mornings it was very important that I drove in a safe and responsible way as I was representing the business in the sign written vans. I was kept on the same route for most of my time at Fedex which allowed me to get to know my regular customers and provide the best customer face to face service possible.
I would often get called to help another driver out that was struggling to complete their round on time and would go and help another colleague.
Mulit Drop Driver - OfFICE depot
(2009-05 - 2014-05)
Office Depot was more of a business-to-business multi drop. My van would be pre-loaded and I would be provided with a handheld device to complete my deliveries in the delivery order provided. I would be responsible for my van safety checks in the morning which was important as we rarely had the same van each day. I had to provide great customer service and had to drive in a safe, responsible manner with the sign written vans.
