I am a reliable, hard-working, and practical individual who recently completed a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Horticulture at Sparsholt College while working at Test Valley Borough Council. During my apprenticeship I gained my PA1 and PA6 spraying certificate. While working at Test Valley Borough Council I worked on sports turf, which covered football pitch marking, cricket table renovations and looking after the golf course.

• Drive council utility vans and safely towed trailers loaded with heavy machinery and green waste between maintenance sites across Test Valley.
• Operate commercial ride-on lawn mowers and heavy ground maintenance machinery for large-scale grass cutting and park upkeep.
• Perform pre-use safety inspections, daily vehicle checks, and basic mechanical maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Load and secure heavy plant machinery onto trailers safely following road transport safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively within a mobile team to deliver daily maintenance schedules safely and punctually in all weather conditions.
• Maintain sports facilities across Test Valley to high aesthetic and safety standards.
• Operate commercial machinery safely, including ride-on mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers following strict health and safety guidelines.
• Interact professionally with members of the public while carrying out outdoor daily duties in varying weather conditions.
• Work collaboratively within a team of experienced grounds officers to deliver daily maintenance schedules on time.
