- As an occupational therapist I have the responsibility to assess and treat patients with a person-centred approach.
- I developed exceptional communication skills in order to deal with high pressure situations such as upset family members, emotional patients and to getting my voice heard within the wider multi-disciplinary team.
- I have shown my leadership skills by taking on a student who I supervised and taught the practice of occupational therapy. I learned the benefits of supervision, reflection and goal setting.
