Olawale Abereoje is a highly accomplished Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years of experience delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK and Nigeria. My career spans water infrastructure, rail modernization, commercial developments, and public sector facilities demonstrating a consistent ability to drive commercial success, contractual compliance, and strategic cost control across diverse environments.
Currently serving as a Snr Quantity Surveyor at Glanua UK (Nov 2023 – Present), Olawale leads commercial delivery on the £26M Blackburn Meadows Wastewater Treatment Works Upgrade under the Yorkshire Water AMP7 MEICA Framework. My responsibilities include NEC3/4 contract administration, subcontractor account management, and change control implementation, ensuring financial transparency and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
Prior to this, I worked with Costain Engineering Construction Ltd (Feb 2023 – Sept 2023), where he contributed to the £124M Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA). I led tender evaluations, managed complex compensation events, and supported governance through GATE reviews and cost assurance reporting.
At Prime Property Works UK (Oct 2022 – Feb 2023), I served as Senior Quantity Surveyor, overseeing the construction of six apartment blocks and the refurbishment of a dilapidated shopping hall in Stevenage. He managed CVRs, subcontractor accounts, and client applications, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
From June 2018 to Oct 2022, I held the role of Senior Manager Quantity Surveyor at Technics Engineering Architecture Marketing (TEAM), where he led commercial operations on a $2.6B Standard Gauge Railway Modernization Project and six mega terminal buildings. Earlier in his career, I served as Senior Quantity Surveyor at Nahman Construction Co. Ltd (Jan 2011 – May 2018), managing landmark projects such as the Great Brand Head Office, Dangote Academy, and the Canadian Chancery Building.
