Omaima Aouam

Hello, my name is Omaima and I live in the UK, I currently work as a higher-level teaching assistant teaching Maths to high school students aged 11 to 16, I also teach English as a second language online and my students' ages range from 5 all the way to adults preparing for job interviews and wanting to further their careers using English. My favourite part about teaching is seeing my students gain confidence in their abilities to communicate well and solve problems independently (in Maths).

My professional experience includes working as an English as a second language teacher for over 2 years both online and in person in Italy, in addition to currently working as a higher-level teaching assistant in the UK teaching Maths to high school students, I have also worked as a private English and Maths tutor in the UK and worked in many primary and nursery settings in the UK and have supported children with special educational needs with their education as a special educational needs teacher.

My most relevant experience includes planning and delivering and covering classes in a high school setting in the UK, in addition to delivering hundreds of English lessons both online and in person and tutoring students privately in subjects like English, Maths and science.
