Mechanical Engineer with 2.5 years Manufacturing Specialist & Process engineering experience at Seagate Technology. Whilst completing my final 2 years at university I accepted a full time shift role at Seagate as a manufacturing specialist and gained approval to complete my Dissertation on the use of additive manufacturing to produce parts for legacy machines in Seagate's manufacturing site. Upon the completion of University I progressed internally on promotion to the role of Process Engineer where I became a tool owner managing and optimising optical inspection processes to improve and support product quality, yield, efficiency and equipment performance while supporting production and continuous improvement initiatives.
In 2023, I moved to Australia to pursue opportunities and gain experience. I delivered work on multiple fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) construction projects. During this time, I Worked in Sydney as a tunnelling operative assisting Mechanical Fitters in the disassembly of tunnel boring machines.
I have Recently returned from Australia to pursue long term career progression within engineering.
