Site Manager - Charles Church - Ripon

After my promotion I was given the responsibility of running a Charles Church site in Ripon. There are 117 plots from £170-£530k 55, and we achieved completion of 55 units to CML in 10 months with another 35 in build at present.

Helping to run a site of large, detached houses with over 200 units, consisting of 4 and 5 bedroom homes. Sales value between £250,000 and £420,000. The work has been ongoing for the last 3 years and I have been part of it for the past year.
My role includes everything from site inductions to completing houses for CML. Working to site and company Health & Safety Policies, NHBC inspections, organising trades, speaking to sub-contractors on a daily basis to book in works and dealing with customer care issues. Also completing lifting plans and scaffold inspections.
We work to an agreed build programme set by the Construction Director and Contacts Manager to complete houses on time and to budget.

For 3 years I was in a sales role in the family business run by my father. The experience developed my communication skills greatly and furthered my ability to work on my own as it involved tele sales and cold calling selling into shops and businesses. I had to travel extensively throughout the UK, so traveling and working away from home is not a problem.
