With over six years of professional experience in diverse roles supporting programs and projects across public and private sectors, I have developed a versatile skill set perfectly suited to various project requirements. My strengths include collaborative teamwork, proactive decision-making, conflict resolution, persuasive communication, analytical thinking, management/leadership, and efficient time management. These skills ensure tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines.
My proficiency in negotiation, influence, and motivation has been instrumental in fostering constructive relationships across teams and organisations.
I have honed my public speaking skills through Toastmasters, achieving the Distinguished Toastmasters (DTM) award. I regularly apply my strong communication skills when interacting with stakeholders, ranging from external suppliers to program steering groups, board members, directors, and clinicians. I identify key stakeholders, foster working relationships, and ascertain their preferred communication styles to drive essential actions forward.
In my last role, I worked on the Diversity Matters in Primary Care, Wayfinding Strategic Implementation Project, and the Freedom to Speak Up Initiative. I implemented systems for effective project monitoring and reporting and developed tracking tools, and methodologies to monitor milestones, deliverables, and timelines. I organised and facilitated meetings, prepared agendas, coordinated logistics, and documented minutes to ensure alignment and accountability.
I managed project plans, deliverables, and resource utilization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Monitoring project budgets, resource allocations, and timelines, while identifying and addressing deviations or risks, were within my remit.
During the Wayfinding Signage Project, I developed a comprehensive plan, maintained a database of templated signage, and liaised with key stakeholders on signage changes to align with patients' letters. I conducted needs assessments, oversaw the design of inclusive signage, coordinated with vendors for production and installation, and implemented systems for reporting and addressing damaged or outdated signage. I also prepared management reports highlighting progress and challenges.
On the Freedom to Speak Up Initiative, I supported individuals requiring assistance, evaluated concerns about organisational operations, and developed new policies based on staff experiences and best practices. I supported leadership teams to improve operational arrangements around Freedom to Speak Up.
At VA Property Consultant Limited, as an Interim Project Manager, I led the IT project migrating the company’s servers to cloud-based storage systems. I developed project plans, created risk management plans, acted as the primary contact between the IT team and stakeholders, and provided ongoing support post-migration. I analysed outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implemented best practices into the organisation’s project management framework.
I also spearheaded the upgrade of clinicians’ smartcards at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as an Interim PMO Analyst, increasing efficiency and security measures. I orchestrated a cutover plan, supported User Acceptance Testing, led cyber security assessments, improved the team’s best practices, and ensured all test scripts were properly tested and documented.
I have conducted daily scrum meetings, introduced adherence to SLAs, optimised team efficiency, supported governance meetings, and tracked project progress, leading to increased stakeholder satisfaction and project outcomes.
I am dedicated to upholding high standards and believe in continuous self-improvement, actively participating in all available training courses. I am eager to discuss how I can contribute value to the advertised position.
