I am currently self employed and have been working within the outdoor education/learning industry since 2000, at various inspirational organisations and outfits across Cornwall, employed and as a sole trader. I have various NGB qualifications and have years of experience facilitating outdoor education, supporting children, young people and adults navigate personal learning, stretching comfort zones, enhance physical and mental wellbeing, managing Centres logistics, operations, health and safety, staff training and welfare and delivery of accredited courses and training.
I have been lucky enough to have worked within the outdoor learning industry since 2000 and remain just as passionate now as ever before. I have been fortunate enough to have worked alongside some incredibly passionate and worldly qualified, experienced people which has consistently inspired my professionalism and ethos towards my own practice. I make ongoing, considerable efforts to be able to provide learning in natural and challenging environments, crafting transferrable skill development and rich experiences for children to adults which I am fortunate to call my career.
I have recently participated in CPD training and assessment for various work compliance qualifications and nationally governed qualifications such as Food and Hygiene L3, Fire Marshall, Outdoor First Aid, Archery GB and have been a DofE Assessor for the last 3 yrs. Prior to this I studied and qualified in PTLLS and Forest School L3, first aid trainer and assessor, climbing and paddlesport coaching NGBs. Prior to being self employed I worked at BF Adventure, near Penryn, for nearly 11yrs which developed and broaden my skills hugely, Lusty Glaze Adventure Centre before this and various inspirational outfits in between.
