I have over 15 years of experience working with children in roles such as community youth worker, outdoor instructor, childcare social worker, teacher, youth pastor and mentor. I love working with children and being a part of their development into able and resilient young adults. I am a deep thinker and reflective of my own abilities and approaches, constantly looking for ways to improve and develop.
I regularly read books about child development, working with children and parenting to continuously aid me in my personal and professional journey working with children and parenting. I have musical abilities which I like to integrate into teaching where I can because of the powerful nature of musical learning. I am approachable, empathetic, easy going and confident working with large groups.
