Since I arrived in the United Kingdom, I have strived to better myself at every stage of my career, and I feel as though the next step for me is to gain further qualifications. My interest in the health profession has been longstanding as early as secondary education in India. I decided to pursue it as a career from the day I moved to the United Kingdom.

I have been working in the National Health Service for over 13 years. During this time, I have performed multiple roles and progressed my career by keeping abreast of the changes in the industry and evolving my IT skills offered by the NHS organisation. In November 2009, I managed to gain employment with Royal Free Hampstead Hospital as Rotational Maternity Health Care Assistant and a new-born screening role as bank staff.

Which I enjoyed, and my interest in Audiology took the base. I took my first step toward the audiology course by managing to secure my place at ARU as a student. My job as a trainee Audiologist at Broomfield Hospital offered me to dedicate time to complete the course.

As a fully qualified audiologist and HCPC registered Hearing Aid Dispenser, I have developed my problem-solving and communication skills, which are essential in healthcare. I am striving to deliver exceptional care by supporting people of all ages from a variety of different backgrounds. To advance my knowledge in healthcare, I have engaged in clinical practice in various hospitals to develop teamwork and organisation skills which are critical in providing holistic healthcare and support to the patients.

My experience has shaped me into an individual that strives to be professional, offering the best care, support and advice.
