About
I am a Registered Nurse and experienced healthcare leader with more than 25 years' experience across acute, emergency, urgent and community services within the NHS. Having progressed from frontline nursing roles to Deputy Director level, I have built my career around delivering safe, high-quality care whilst supporting services to adapt and improve in an increasingly challenging healthcare environment. My background combines strong clinical leadership with operational and strategic management.
I have led large multidisciplinary teams, managed significant budgets and overseen complex service portfolios, always with a focus on maintaining high standards of patient care, safety and experience. I am particularly passionate about service improvement and innovation. Much of my recent career has focused on developing new models of care, including digital health and virtual services, helping patients access the right care at the right time while supporting wider NHS priorities around quality, efficiency and sustainability.
I believe successful leadership is about supporting people, building trust and creating the conditions for teams to thrive. Throughout my career I have remained clinically grounded and committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for patients, carers and communities.
