A successful 16 years in senior executive healthcare leadership positions both in the UK and overseas is complemented by sound business acumen and commercial awareness. This is preceded by 22 years’ military service in the Royal Navy. I was recently awarded a doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) and my research dissertation on culture and leadership in healthcare will shortly be published. My experience and knowledge of legal and regulatory obligations spans across healthcare and the charity sector and is called upon regularly in my role as Board Trustee for the Elmbridge MENCAP charity in Surrey.
