Volunteer - Age UK charity store - Letchworth

Took up volunteering at the Age UK charity store. Served members of the public, using communication skills to ensure customers were treated with respect and courtesy. Used problem solving skills to deal with customer complaints/questions.

• Accepted and logged charity donations into the company’s online system, for customers that were registered as a gift aider and ones who weren’t.
• Carried out E-commerce sales on Shopiago by scanning in books and media into the website.

Kitchen porter (work experience) - The Rising Sun - Halls Green

Participated in work experience for 5 and a half hours over the course of two days as a kitchen porter. Performed washing up tasks and helped prepare sides.

• As a kitchen porter I had to communicate effectively with members in the Kitchen.

Job trial - The Highway Man - Graveley

Participated in a job trial for two hours in the back of the house. Learnt about what everything does and where it was stored/how it is stored.
