I have many years of experience in supporting deploying and maintaining many applications. I have worked in a range of company types from Vendor, End User, Consultancy and Third Party. This has given me a breath of knowledge with respect to the expectations and requirements that each type of party has when working with an application in all the stages of the applications life cycle.
I have many years of customer service experience and I enjoy working with users from the most technically challenged to the most technically proficient. I enjoy working with the users and I like to make a difference and to help the user community to better understand the application. It is also very useful to understand how the business use the application or resources to help them in their daily work which provides an underlying level of knowledge and context when working to resolve issues.
I feel comfortable in dealing with stakeholders from many areas and at all levels within the organisation.
I have a broad range of skills from infrastructure, networks, database, and limited development. This helps me to work closely with the other departments and to provide detailed information on which they can advise or help resolve an issue.
From my contracting days I have taken responsibility for my own career and when accepting the role to take ownership of the libraries SharePoint environment, I spent many hours of my own time to try and gain the skills required to properly support the libraries SharePoint environment. I would look to carry this on given the opportunity to work with new technologies. I have the ability with my experience to quickly get up to speed when looking at either new technologies or applications.

have always tried to improve the environments on which I have worked. This has been through evaluating ongoing issues to define a long-term solution to those issues or by implementing additional technologies to resolve or complement the solution. I am a firm believer in proactive management to take care of the routine issues which creates a more stable environment t on which the application can perform.
I have defined many processes and created solutions to meet various customer needs. I have then documented these process and solutions so that other team members can support the solutions and processes when deployed.
