Successful and driven software entrepreneur creating two start-up companies in partnership with top 100 law firms analysing business, designing and building award winning products, creating technical and project teams, gaining new client wins and developing relationships to deliver value to all stakeholders.
I led eLegal in taking a mid-tier practice management system and enhanced it into a full multi-entity, multi-currency, complex insurance billing system supporting nearly 800 users globally. The platform covers client and matter management, GL, TB, revenue control, credit control, accounts payable, residual balance management, complex conflict management, client onboarding and AML, full cashiering, dashboard and finance reporting and interfaces seamlessly with Chrome River, Intapp time capture, iManage, SAP and Oracle HR.
This technology transformation was undertaking whilst I ran the supplier project for the global roll out replacing multiple systems (including Elite, Iridium). This programme required complex stakeholder management of partners, multiple 'c' level executives, fee earners, (potential and) suppliers, development, project and training teams.
During this period eLegal Technology was developed into a highly successful business, with a number of commercial products, client and service lines. I personally product designed and played an active part in the build of:

Prior to this I created another legal software business, the award-winning New Street Solutions (in partnership with Taylor Wessing). This business was successfully led to a PE offer.
Before moving into the legal sector in 2011 I undertook my first Managing Director role where I re-vamped a physical post to e-billing BPaaS business through product refresh, new client acquisition to a successful trade sale to a large international buyer with genuine future plans for the business and staff.
Prior to this activity I had a multi-year career in banking systems software, working for the two major players Temenos and Misys. Here I ran professional services, partner programs and providing input on the Executive and Development boards, joining as an early starter and helping the firm through IPO.
