Police officer working for Cambridgeshire Constabulary (2021 - present) whereby I consistently work in a fast paced environment, providing safeguarding to vulnerable people. Keeping up to date on new legislation and force policies along with changes in admin based responsibilities, ensuring quality documents are produced. I am person focussed, going above and beyond to provide the best service, so each individual feels supported.

Dedicated to improving personal knowledge and therefore looking for a full time role where i can further support vulnerable people, in a more streamlined role.

Police Constable at Cambridgeshire Constabulary (2021-10 – Present)

Completion of English, Mathematics, physical fitness and cognitive assessments were completed and acceptance to the Policing Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA). Initial training of 16 weeks was undertaken, passing legislation exams and role play scenarios whilst studying for a university degree. Various projects including targeting criminality in hot spot areas were assignments requiring presentation to fellow students and Senior Officers.

• Working in a team of Officers on a three-shift system of early mornings, afternoons into evening and nightshifts until 7am.
• Responding to Emergency 999 calls on an immediate grade. These events are diverse; ranging from a neighbourhood dispute, low level assaults, high risk domestic incident involving violence, controlling and coercive behaviour, child protection investigations and an imminent threat to life.
• Regularly managing incidents with the public who are presenting in different emotional states.
• Highly skilled at diffusing stressful, upsetting and sensitive situations in order to resolve and offer support, whilst remaining professional at all times.
• All incidents require full documentation and evidential support in the form of risk ratings. Risk ratings are authorised by Senior Officers in conjunction with the decision making of the attending officer.
• At all domestic incidents a DARA is completed together with other safeguarding options being considered. Including an Adult or Child Protection Investigation. Non molestation orders are also considered to protect all persons involved in the incident.
• Efficient and professional liaison with Social Services and the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
• Interview suspects and provide documentation to the Crown Prosecution Service, attend as a Police witness to give evidence.
• Ensure all documentation is in the correct format, utilizing secure policing systems.
• Document victim statements using their own vocabulary to build a timeline of events. Obtain evidence such as CCTV and forensic opportunities to support the allegation.
• Regularly called to persons with mental health issues, including self harm, drug and alcohol abuse and suicide ideation.
• Assist with finding reported missing persons who can include adults, children and those suffering with medical conditions such as dementia along with those in a mental health crisis.
• Assisting the homeless community with information for social housing support, swept programme, adult protection referrals and further support regarding transient lifestyles. Working with external agencies in regards to probation and permanent bail addresses, along with referrals to aspire and other mental health services.
• Working with sex workers to provide a trustworthy space to report crimes, creating rapport and building connections to ensure their safety.
• Working with the neighbourhood policing team targeting issues within communities alongside seeking warrants in order to conduct property searches. Targeting drug related incidents and organized crime gangs (OCG).
• Police Support Unit trained (PSU) which has allowed me to provide further support with the recent UK Riots and assisting the general public with their rights to a peaceful protest.

Call Sales Advisor at Whirlpool (2020-07 – 2021-10)

• Answering calls from customers requiring assistance due to kitchen appliance malfunction.
• Managing the call list of engineers to ensure the most efficient use of their travelling time and schedules.
• Collaborating with the stores department to ensure that engineers had the correct parts for the appointments booked.
• Providing reassurance to customers concerning their appliance timely repair.
