As a visual learner with dyslexia, I thrive in hands-on, practical environments. I love the outdoors and hiking, and love getting creative with photography, videography and editing. I am keen on volunteering to give back to great causes and enhance my skill set.
June-Sept 2024, June-Oct 2025, June-Present 2026: Summer Visitor Service Assistant/Warden at the Royal Collection Trust. I worked as a member of the Access Team for the Buckingham Palace Summer Opening. Welcoming and supporting visitors, providing any additional assistance throughout their tour, through an alternative quieter route with lift access.
Main duties include security checking visitors and their belongings, scanning tickets, buggy driving and escorting visitors to and from the lift. I also had to handle administrative tasks related to visiting parties, including the number of people in each group, accessibility equipment, cloakroom numbers, as well as the number of visitors and wheelchairs on the principal floor for fire safety reasons.
Nov 2021-June 2024: Exam Invigilator and Casual Admin Assistant at Redland Green School.
Exam Invigilator: Invigilating students during mock & actual examinations. Overseeing students, ensuring procedures are followed, and ensuring the safety of the students. Worked as part of a team and sometimes led a team of invigilators, ensuring tasks were covered, completing incident logs and associated paperwork during exams, e.g. rest breaks used, access arrangements, extra time, supervising laptop usage including during online exams.
Admin Assistant: General office duties, data entry tasks, as well as providing a full reprographics service to teaching staff. I also assisted with COVID-19 testing and vaccinations, acting as a runner between the NHS Medical Team, main office, and teaching staff, and providing refreshments, as well as supervising medical teams for safeguarding purposes.
July 2019-June 2024: Visitor Experience Assistant at Brunel’s SS Great Britain. Paid Work as a Summer Visitor Experience Assistant, July-Sept 2021.

Welcomed visitors, selling tickets and retail items; promoting onsite activities; supporting visitors’ experience during visit and on tours; ensuring the safety of visitors while they are on the site.
I also produced a video with volunteers about the ship, asking them about their favourite facts and stories related to the ship. This was all my own idea and concept; I planned, produced, directed, filmed and edited the video. The video was uploaded to the volunteer page on the SS Great Britain Website and YouTube channel. This was a joy to create, and it has motivated me to pursue a future career in this field.
Feb 2024: Day Runner at British Society of Cinematographers Expo. This was a 4-day contract as a Day Runner, working as part of a team to assist with various responsibilities during the setup of the industry expo and the event itself. Duties included setting up the visitor entrance and cloakroom, stocking the bar areas with a variety of drinks and snacks, and providing booklets and tote bags at the entrance.
During the event, I assisted at the registration desk, welcoming visitors, signing them in, and answering any queries they had.
Sept 2023: Production Day Runner at National Television Awards. A 3-day contract as a Production Runner assisting with various responsibilities during the set-up of the award ceremony and the live televised event at the O2 Arena. Main duties included assisting the camera crew with organising photos of celebrities in their designated seats, which followed a seating plan, allowing the camera crew to plan camera angles and placements in preparation for the live event.
Stocking the bar area with drinks and snacks. Left the site to purchase additional stationery and extra equipment for the production team. On the day of the live event, organised goody bags for VIPs, ensured the celebrities were correctly seated, and helped with the general tidy-up during and after the show.
May 2022-July 2023: Podcast Audio and Video Content Editor for 10q Interview. I worked as a post-production editor for a podcast, providing both long-form audio and visual versions, as well as short-form video clips for release on social media. Using skills I learnt from my Level 3 education as well as my own research, I used Premiere Pro and Audition from Adobe Creative Suite to create this content.
May & August 2021: Poll Clerk for Wiltshire Council. Welcoming voters, including explaining Covid measures; administering voting, including setting up & dismantling the room; maintaining the secrecy of the ballot.
