• Played a major role in managing activities related to shift operations that include metal tapping, anode changing, beam rising and cryolite bath correction.
• Serving as Shift Leader for line 6 and responsible for controlling the parameters of pots for effective and better running of potline where primary aluminium is produced.
• Took care of treating Pot abnormalities to produce the best metal of desired quality & achieve the designed current efficiency as per the business plan.
• Executed best practices during the abnormal situations viz. abnormal power outage, pot leakage, hot & cold pots, etc.

• Handled quality assurance function with overall responsibility of the entire gamut of functions related to quality management and ensured complete in-process quality control and continuous improvement in process capability.
