- First point of contact for all customers and visitors to the station
- Manning the gate line and advising management on any fare evaders
- Ensuring I provide accurate information on train departures, arrivals and changes of train times
- Dealing with a wide range of customers and problem solving any issues that may arise on their journey
- Ensuring I'm proactive and friendly at all times to present the best level of customer service for the station
- Adhering to all health & safety regulations personally and professionally
- Open station in the morning, performing daily patrols and ensuring all ticket machines are in working order by making test purchases on the Ticket Vending Machine (TVM)
- Answer any queries relating to the TVM throughout the course of my shift
- Following H.O.T and W.H.A.T protocols while on station platforms

Duties
- Conduct store patrols every 40 minutes
- Greeting customers at the store entrance and conducting any necessary security searches when customers leave
- Approaching any suspects under the H.O.T and W.H.A.T protocol
- Assisting with evacuating the store in the event of any health & safety breaches or to the closest fire exit
- Log all patrol times and communicate with till managers to ensure an open flow of communication
