I graduated from University of Edinburgh in July 2022, with a degree in Computer Science. I have been working in Amazon for the past 16 months as a Brand Specialist in Beers, Wines and Spirits (BWS) category for the UK marketplace. Through this aspect of my current role I have been able to gain experience in working in an Agile environment that employs Agile principles & methodologies, gain experience in collaboration and stake holder management varying seniority and learn how to be a very capable communicator.
Additionally, I am also the Deals Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all the clients in Beers, Wines & Spirits for UK marketplace. I handle all promotional related activities ranging from deal sourcing, negotiation and deal event execution for large scale events such as Prime Day & Black Friday. Through this role as Deals SME, I have been able to hone my skills with regards to working directly with external clients while leveraging internal partners in a fast – paced environment with precision & accuracy.
Managing 30+ clients as part of my Deals SME role also gives me significant experience in multitasking, maintaining internal control & checks, adhering to deadlines in a fast – paced environment and problem solving to meet client requirements.
