Previous position: Senior Project Manager, Project Analyst The development of a new student management system, which captures information from point of enquiry. The Programme aims to deliver a self-service student led application streamlining and improving the student journey, replacing multiple solutions with one system focusing on a customer-centric approach; Removing duplication from processes, improving data quality and in turn promoting cultural change and efficiencies.
Led and tactically executed three projects this year:
*Cloud migration project *Curriculum API *Placements system.
Tasks: Contract negotiation, introduction, activities and resource matching, timeline planning and action delegation and follow up. Design documentation, Integration Requirement Documentation, Technical Design Authority, System Integration prep and testing, User Acceptance testing staff and student, Deployment from test environment to live.
Early Life Support lead – proposed and agreed a standardised ELS format for the Programme and lead on this activity for multiple project deployments. Comprehensive document inclusive of First occurrence document and resource requirement overview taking into account preparatory tasks.
Release Management lead – review, Impact assessment, implementation through to deployment lifecycle management. New Programme process design into implementation using DevOps adding increased visibility to the business and other stakeholders showing a change lifecycle.
Bugs process implementation and reporting – setting up a Programme wide process to track and monitor bugs produced from the Student Management system, tracking progress, resolution timeline and testing outputs etc. This process takes in to account Business as Usual (Admissions and Curriculum) and Product build, which will take the remaining product live to the entirety of the Business at the final stage known as GoLive4. The output of bugs resolution, then testing of that resolution will determine if the product is considered stable enough for Go Live.
