As a health-focused educator, I believe strongly that increasing children's and young adults’ participation in sports and exercise will lead to healthy lifestyles in later life. I also consider an active lifestyle as a key aspect of successful academic achievement through its motivational and psychological benefits. Therefore, this desire combined with my enthusiastic and encouraging style of teaching will be a valuable addition to your academic team.

Within my current role, I am required to teach in multiple different schools each week, with each day teaching at a different school. This has allowed me to have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of students from different backgrounds and ability levels whilst also delivering a large range of different topics. In this time, I have also been required to deliver lessons to students with complex learning difficulties and additional needs.

As a result, I have become a flexible educator who considers each student's unique needs and abilities when planning and assessing lessons, allowing me to give individualized support to each child. Alongside this, I encourage student learning by incorporating a range of exciting sports, games, and activities into my planning, that not only reinforce the importance of health and fitness but also teamwork, organization, confidence, and strategy. I also implement different teaching techniques to ensure that each student fully understands the presented information leading to enhancements of their fine motor skills and enjoyment in sports and exercise.
