Music is a lifelong hobbie and passion for me, whether that be with my band that I write for, checking out new or classic records, or digging live gigs with my buddies.
Team Leader / Supervisor - Henry's Cafe and Bar, Cardiff - Cardiff
(2024-11)
At Henry's I started out as front of house and quickly proved myself to the team, which lead to me being promoted to a Team Leader / supervisor which came with exciting new responsibilities, all of which I gladly undertook. Over the busy christmas period I took the top sales position and was named in several reviews for my quality service.
FoH Team Member - The Old Joint Stock, Birmigham - Birmigham
(2023-06 - 2024-08)
Here I practiced my front of house skills and consolidated my previously acquired bartending skills. I learnt how to serve food in line with food hygiene and safety standards. I made many longtime friends as a part of the team and was regularly trusted to be in charge of the bar.
Working front of house meant I would be handling multiple large bookings at the same time which was an exciting new challenge to me that I ended up loving. I loved chatting to all the customers because it always helped them to relax and enjoy their stay at the pub.
Bartender - Streetly Cricket Club
(2022-11 - 2023-06)
Working as a bartender was a great way to get to know lots of different people! I made many friends here, customers and coworkers alike because of the social nature of the job. I really loved the busy social aspect of bar work, because there was always something to do or someone to chat to.
I began to accumulate lots of product knowledge which helped me sell new beers to customers. The cricket club also came with the added responsibility of closing and opening the club with my own set of keys, and also arranging function bookings over the phone. I loved working here and I still keep in contact with the people I met at the cricket club.
