I’m a young man looking for work in a Mental Health Care setting. I’ve have had some experience of working with Mind a few years ago in Grounds Maintenance
I have recovered from a mental illness myself and so whilst I must confess that I do not have a Health Care Qualification, I am I feel, an expert by experience and I am very keen to offer all I have learnt to help others on their road to recovery and so the part time position of support
I am well educated and have 10 GCSE, 3 A levels and a Certificate of Education from Birkbeck University and so feel capable to handle any administrative duties that go with the position too.
Prior to my illness I worked in Graphic Design and along the way and following my recovery , I have worked in various positions , including warehousing, and grounds maintenance as previously mentioned.
I am now keen to begin to develop a career and with my lived experience I believe that working in Mental Health in the community for a caring organisation could be a very good beginning for me.
Anyway, with all that in mind, please see attached my CV which shows what I have done career –wise although it doesn’t show my enthusiasm to do more, starting with working with you .
