A 'hands-on' problem solver with over 30 years experience in the food industry both as a consultant and senior executive, running multi-site operations, driving step change improvements, process enhancements, capital projects and start-ups across the Supply Chain. Commercially astute and able to drive real P&L change.
Experience in chilled, frozen and ambient foods, farming and commodities, juice blending and drinks, flavours, industrial lubricants, and a range of other technical ingredients both in the UK and abroad
Work Areas include: Results focused productivity and efficiency improvement delivery. Improved commercial / margin performance through supply chain analysis, waste reduction and process enhancement. Planning and supply chain improvements. Commercial negotiations / purchasing, Capacity planning and stock reduction to improve asset utilisation. Health and Safety improvements, Costing and profitability analysis. Capital project and automation analysis.
Asset care and contingency, H&S planning, Customer Service improvements. Business planning and restructuring, team building and mentoring
