After over a decade in teaching, my professional aspirations have been enriched by a deep dive into cybersecurity, culminating in multiple CompTIA certifications. My knowledge of computer security is enhanced by technical proficiencies in Pentest+, Network+, and Security+, as well as a rigorous education in Philosophy and a military background, positioning me uniquely at the intersection of logical thinking and cyber security.
Embracing a mission to blend critical inquiry with IT security, my competencies lie in vulnerability assessment and secure infrastructure. The classroom has been a grounding force, where I've honed my ability to convey complex concepts with clarity and adopt a mindset embracing continuous learning and ethical responsibility. I have previous professional experience in education and the military.
I trained as an officer in British Army and then taught multiple subjects at secondary age.
I have several certifications in IT/cybersecurity, including Security+ and Pentest+, and want to work towards CySA+ and OSCP.
I have a Masters and BA in Philosophy, where my dissertation focused on the ethics and social contracts of AI generated content.
