Throughout this program, I studied various issues surrounding AI in different fields like algorithmic injustice, machine creativity, algorithmic profiling, values and alignment of artificial intelligence, and many others. This program helped me develop critical thinking skills to identify and address the relevant concerns while providing comprehensive strategies and insights on using these technologies.
During my studies, I wrote papers that focused on algorithmic injustice and predictive analytics, where I presented future strategies to overcome these issues. Additionally, I researched machine creativity and its comparison to human creativity. I also took modules in politics, social justice, advanced ethics, and others.
For my dissertation, I researched the impact of lethal autonomous weapon systems, where I showed how their use could potentially cause harm in conflict scenarios. Based on my findings, I presented considerations and strategies to use these weapons for positive outcomes in conflict situations.
