I am a 17 year old girl currently studying Health and social care level 3 extended in college. I am looking for a part time job that is able to provide experience and a way to learn and understand the workplace properly. By getting a job I will be able to show off my skills in a place that will be able to provide both positive and negative feedback on my work and skills.

Nursery Worker at Rainbow Nursery (2024-04 – 2024-05)

Throughout this month at the nursery I was working with the children to understand the routines, the roles and responsibilities that it help being in this work place. Working around barriers in the nursery efficiently to help the children.

• Working around barriers in the nursery efficiently to help the children. For example, following specif food plans revolving allergies.
• Communicating with parents when discussing their child in a respectful and sensible matter.
• Filling in appropriate documents around incidents and accidents. Also taking responsibility when making mistakes and being able to talk and share what's happened.

Care Home Worker at Wyncroft Care Home (2025-09 – Present)

Within the year I have attended this care home so far it has taught me many more skills and knowledge on how to manage and deal with situations.

• How to overcome communication barriers efficiently and respectfully making everyone feel comfortable and understood in the conversation. Also being able to create conversation with residents and staff making them feel more comfortable along as getting to know eachother more.
