I have recently gained an MA in art psychotherapy from the University of South Wales and am seeking a psychotherapy or counselling job in which to practice and develop my skills.
Prior to this my first career was as a registered general nurse, specialising in accident and emergency work. After having my family, I gained a PGCE and worked as a secondary art teacher, teaching 11 to 16 year olds to GCSE level.
On leaving school I trained as a registered general nurse, specialising in accident and emergency work. After having my family I trained as a teacher and worked as a secondary school art teacher for eight years. Recently I graduated with an MA in Art psychotherapy bringing together my art and healthcare experience and am now seeking to develop this career.
MA - art psychotherapy
PGCE - secondary art teacher.
Ba - education and creative art
RGN - Adult nursing.
A levels - art and english.
