About

I have just received my S5 exam results and have decided to leave St Paul's High School in Pollok, Glasgow. Initially I was going to stay on for 6th year but have decided to get some work experience. I am motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

I am looking for a role where I can build practical skills and gain hands on experience. I have a keen interest in a vast variety of subjects such as business and administration, beauty and clinical roles such as nursing in any field. A trainee or apprenticeship role would be a great stepping stone to a career for me.

I always try my best with everything I do and I am a very friendly and approachable person, always willing to help my peers.

Experience

Bridal Shop Assistant - Aunt's bridal shop

I have worked weekends at my aunt's bridal shop when required to help brides have a great experience when shopping for their dream dress.

Check in brides using the booking system
Arrange follow up appointments if required
Offer teas and coffees for the bride and family
Assist by bringing the dresses out to show
Collect shoes and accessories for the bride to try on

Nail Technician - Self-employed

I have a keen interest in nail art and spend a lot of my free time being a nail technician for friends and family. I really enjoy this and have been practising since I was around 8 years old. I have learned via YouTube videos and other sites the process and the products required to perfect acrylic, gel and BIAB nails.
