Sachin Lalge

I am Sachin Lalge, a “Chemical Engineer” graduate from Dayanand Sagar college of engineering in 2013. Currently pursuing MSc in “Engineering Projects & System Management” in Kingston university London (Since September 2022 expected to graduate by September 2023). I am a hardworking individual with creative thinking who highly values honesty and integrity.

Keen observer of current affairs, enthusiastic to learn about new things. As a good academic student, I am extremely analytical, strategizes according to the facts & factual. I always look myself to be on a vantage point to see things as they are, to provide an accurate solution.

Believer of people-oriented progresses over task-oriented approaches.

I am a traditionalist with great work ethic conscientiousness, strong advocate of sustainability. Proud co-inventor of patented technology.

To cater the urge of upgrading my skills, I am pursuing master’s by signing off my job at the peak of my career. As a project management student, I look at the challenges from a different lens than usual. I understand the wholesomeness of project & I hold necessary knowledge to manage project at an absolute level.

I worked as an Associate scientist at Behr Paints pvt ltd for over 8 years and awarded as “Outstanding of the contributor of the year-2015 “, At present I am part-time crew member at McDonald’s Fulham, where I got recognized as “Employee of the Month – March 2023”. The recognitions received in both workplaces certify my dedication and determination towards the work.

Associate Scientist at Behr Paints India Pvt Ltd., (November-2013 to August-2022)

• Brainstorming new ideas to develop new products according to the market needs helped to improve my innovation skills.
• Lead multiple projects effectively & efficiently with an impressive success rate.
• As a co-inventor of patented technology, I was able to formulate a new state of the art technology product line to satisfy customer requirements. During the process of development, I was closely involved with marketing, Sales along with the higher management and was able to contribute my observations which influenced the launch. Extensive market survey along with logical conclusion provided me with a vast understanding of the development process and decision-making skill.
• Managed a team of 10 members to develop new products & upgrading of existing products along with cost saving related tasks (Annual savings up to 5 million dollars) which enhanced my leadership and problem-solving skills.
• As a leader I was able to plan the work for the team members, which developed my planning and organizing skills.
• By participating in vendor development activity, I was able to develop better influencing and negotiating skills.
• Trained team members on technical aspects of the role including raw material knowledge, formulation skill along with training on basics of PowerPoint and excel. 
• Conducted experiments in laboratory environment for product development purposes to enhance my analytical thinking skill.
• Documented changes during experiments, noting unexpected issues arising during research activities and making technical reports of the observations.
• Simultaneously managed several complex projects, meeting all pertinent milestones through excellent time management and prioritization after discussion with relevant colleagues, supervised the office operations, ensuring they ran smoothly and lead the Emergency response team.
