Inbound Sales Advisor - Webhelp
I recently worked at a call centre called webhelp, however I was working as a inbound sales advisor for EE specifically the upgrades and retention department. My role was to ensure any customers that were deciding to end their contract or that did not want to be with EE anymore, I persuaded them using excellent communication skills to keep them with EE and to give them a package that suited what they wanted. I would also upgrade existing customers to either SIM only deals or if they wanted to upgrade to a new phone, explaining everything to the customers ensuring that they knew what they would be paying for.
I was able to work as a team with my colleagues and pick up new ideas and skills that they already had and use them whilst speaking to customers. I made sure I was patient and calm when speaking to some customers that were either rude or just shouting on the phone. By speaking to customers it allowed me to gain good relationships with them and to allow them to see those working at EE genuinely cares for our customers well-being.

Bereavement Support Officer - HSBC Bank
My most recent job was working as a bereavement support officer for HSBC bank, it was a role where you must have empathy interlinked within you as I was the first point of contact for those who have lost a loved one and needed support in closing down their accounts. It was a very liberating and life changing job for me however it made me excel more and understand each and every customer but it wasn't something I wanted in the long run so I made the decision not long ago to move to Birmingham to make the biggest change of moving from Sheffield to the big city. The job opportunities and the life changing experiences I have researched and it made me wonder I wound fit perfectly in a city where somebody like me could make a different because although I have worked in many different places, my personal attributes, my kindness, my ability to be aware of those around me, compassion, courage, and my dedication to make a difference to someone Is immense and captivates who I am.
