Classroom Assistant - Camelot Primary School

My role as a Classroom assistant consisted of working with Nursery and Reception students. During my week of work experience, I helped prepare resources for lessons, supported specific students with reading and supervised classroom activities. Moreover, I supervised students during break and lunch times.
All of these responsibilities combined helped me to develop skills of patience and problem solving, as I often worked with young children who struggled with reading and writing. Furthermore, this experience significantly developed my communication skills as I often adapted my methods of communication in order for the children to understand me.
